This policy explains how Flood Protection Finder collects and uses personal information.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry or request quotes we collect your name, contact details, postcode and the details of your request. When a business creates an account we collect the account holder’s name, email address and the business details they choose to publish.
How we use it
We use enquiry details to pass your request to the businesses you choose and to respond to you. We keep a copy so we can deal with any follow-up or complaint. Business account details are used to run the listing and, for paid plans, to take payment through Stripe.
Who we share it with
Only the businesses you select, our hosting and email providers, and Stripe for card payments. We never sell personal data.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for up to two years. Account data is kept while the account is open and deleted on request.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time by emailing hello@floodprotectionfinder.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
